OVERVIEW
The Launiu was a new luxury development by Ward Village. I supported early brand exploration and designed key marketing assets, including the website, brochure, and sales collateral, helping to establish a cohesive identity across print and digital.

CHALLENGE
Create a digital and brand experience that communicated exclusivity and sophistication while resonating with international buyers accustomed to world-class luxury developments.

APPROACH
Working under the Creative Director, I directed design and storytelling to position The Launiu as refined, aspirational, and globally competitive:

Market alignment: Studied comparable projects in New York, Tokyo, and Sydney to benchmark against the global luxury market.
Brand language: Developed a visual system rooted in tropical modernism—minimal forms, soft neutrals, ocean tones, and spacious layouts.
Audience focus: Targeted affluent international buyers while reflecting Hawaiian cultural authenticity.
Experience design: Crafted a digital journey that evoked calm exclusivity while guiding users seamlessly toward inquiry and conversion.

OUTCOME
A website highlighting the development’s architecture, amenities, and neighborhood lifestyle with immersive visualsthat conveyed both place and prestige.
Design system: Consistent typography, palette, and graphic elements adaptable across digital, print, and sales collateral.
Lifestyle storytelling: Highlighted Ward Village’s curated experiences (dining, shopping, oceanfront living) to elevate The Launiu beyond “just real estate.”

OUTCOME
Prestige positioning: Reinforced The Launiu’s place as one of Ward Village’s flagship luxury towers.
Increased buyer engagement: A refined inquiry flow designed to capture leads from an international audience.
Brand scalability: Provided a modular system for marketing materials across campaigns, events, and sales suites.

LOGO EXPLORATION

Concepts were informed by brand keywords, the project’s background, and photography mood boards compiled by the creative team. The mark needed to feel elegant and distinctive while fitting within the Ward Village suite of residences. Drawing inspiration from Mid-Century Modern Hawaii, I explored a range of logotype styles—from slightly quirky to conservative and refined.

WEB AND COLLATERAL

The visual design was applied across all major pages of the website, which was later translated into Japanese, Korean, and Chinese for international audiences. Print collateral, including ad layouts and sales materials, was also created in alignment with the brand guidelines and adapted for multilingual use.
